Clinical Neuropsychology

Clinical neuropsychology is a branch of clinical psychology that is concerned with how well the brain is functioning and how our brain impacts how we think, feel, and act. The field is dedicated to understanding the relationship between observable behavior and underlying brain injury. With regards to brain injury, neuropsychology is able to examine the impact of brain injury on thinking and emotional functioning. This gives our doctors specific insight into the severity of brain injury and the health of the brain as it recovers.
